Abstract
Bilaspur region exhibits a wide spectrum of plant species and the family Euphorbiaceae is represented significantly. The study of plants of the family Euphorbiaceae is interesting on account of their habitat, habit, foral structure, sterility-fertility and distribution.
The present paper deals with the phytogeographical studies of the plants of this family. The existing floristic species have revealed that they are mostly widely ranging. The recorded floristic elements are enumerated and the noteworthy species are listed. An attempt has been made to throw light on the possible migration of plants.
