Abstract

The data of 40 leukaemia patients and 140 controls is analysed and processed for finger dermatoglyphics. In male leukaemia patients, there have found high percentage of radial loops and arches and low percentage of whorls as compared to male controls. In female leukaemia patients, we have found high percentage of whorls as compared to loops. Data  on males show statistically significant results. However, comparing patients and controls the results are found to be non-significant, value of TRC in male patients is found to be significantly low as compared to male controls but high in female patients as compared to female controls. The values of indices calculated show variation from the control data.
