Abstract

Rana cyanophlyctis tadpoles are generally found in temporary rain pools, and sometimes in streams by secondary introduction.  They are characterized by ovoid trunk with pointed snout,  lateral line organ system, blackish tail region, heavily built rostrodonts and a simple keratodont formula 1/2.
