Abstract
The effect of different Nickel concentrations on seed germination, root-shoot length and dry weight of Vigna radiata was studied. Though ultimate germination was always 100% in all the doses of nickel, the gemination speed was found to be highest at 3ug ml-1 Ni dose. Lower doses resulted in an enhancement while higher doses resulted in a decrease in root-shoot length and dry weight in the test plants.
