Abstract

The paper gives an account of the tracheary elements of nine species of pteridophytes and vessels are being reported for the first time in Cheilanthes albomarginata, C.farinosa and C.tenufolia. In addition vessels reported earlier in Actiniopteris and Adiantum have been subjected for a detailed study.
