Abstract

Sex Chromosome aneuploidies are numerous in the interphase stage of cell cycle in lymphocyte cultures of couples with spontaneous abortions.  To find out the presence of the aneuploidy chromosomal analysis was performed in a series of 25 women with repeated spontaneous abortions and their husbands.  Out of 50 individuals a 26 years female with a history of three Spontaneous abortions was detected to be a chromosomal mosaic 45, X/46, XX and with corresponding sex chromatin picture –ve /+ve.  She had normal phenotype and Spontaneous abortions that occurred in the third/fourth months of pregnancy.  Her husband was normal and has normalkaryotype (46, XY).
