Abstract

The effect of different thiourea concentration on photosynthetic rate, pod size and weight per 100 seeds of  B. campestris L. (Sarson) was studied. Thiourea increased photosynthetic rate as well as all growth parameters studied at all its application rates.  Maximum increase in pod size and Weight per 100 seeds was found when treatment was given at flower initiation stage.
