Abstract
Aqueous solutions of sodium salts of arsenic, molybdenum and selenium were observed to exert toxic effects on male albino rats. Chromosome abnormalities induced in bone marrow cells included breaks and gaps, together with spindle inhibition and The DNA, RNA and total protein contents were decreased in liver, kidney, lung and brain. Histo-pathological studies showed necrosis in the liver and kidney and alveolitis in the lung.
