What are the Impacts of Cooperative Learning Methodologies on Language Proficiency of ESL student Learning?

Abstract

The following paper was focused on the analysis of the scholarly literature devoted to the investigation of the efficacy of the cooperative learning methodologies for the ESL students. The development of the linguistic competencies largely depends on the selection and successful application of the efficient learning methodology, which would enhance the individual strengths of the learner and positively affect the second language acquisition. The paper conducted the comprehensive review of the research devoted to the topic with the particular attention to the research design selected. The major research question aimed at evaluation of the efficacy of the cooperative learning methodologies and its practical applicability in the ESL/EFL classroom settings. The research question was answered with the help of the analytical research method, which helped to synthesize the results of the academic sources.
