Abstract

The process of seed germination in Ulricularia stellaris  L.f. has been studied. The morphological nature of the plant body has been discussed. The root is completely suppressed; the cotyledonoids and all the bladder bearings segments of the young seedling and the mature plant respectively are considered as leaves and the remaining plant body as stem in nature.
